The second part of my MAC order arrived in the mail today, two wonderful shades of eyeliners from the Vera collection. I received “designer purple” a beautiful shimmery purple Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner and “lord it up” a re-release from the Tartan Tail Collection, which is featured in the Vera collection.

Both these liners are absolutely wonderful and soft. They have a beautiful creamy formula which applies like a dream.

Designer Purple is full of beautiful purple sparkles which really makes the eye pop, however it can run really easily and I wouldn’t recommend these for the waterline at all.

Lord It Up is a beautiful rich brown which reminds me of the Teddy Eye Khol. I love love love this colour because I’m a sucker for brown eyeliner.

I rate these two 8.5/10 just for their beautiful colour pay off and their easiness to apply.

Price

AUD$32

USD$15

(that price difference makes me want to cry. Especially because our dollar is doing so well in comparison to the USD!)

Must-have nude lip products!

It’s no secret that I love my nude products. I love nude eyeshadow, I love nude lipstick. Nude is just SO MUCH nicer! That’s why today, I thought that I’d make a post about my favourite nude lip products.

Shown in the picture are:

MAC Lipglass in Viva Glam V

MAC Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Hug Me

MAC Tendertone in Hush Hush

If you’re looking for nudes, these are the way to go. I love a little gloss on my lips so I’m always wearing a lustre lipstick or a lipglass of some sort. I never leave the house without one of these babies, and they always compliment the look that I’m wearing on my eyes.

The Cook MAC/Shop MAC range has finally been released in Australia, something that I’ve been waiting to see for a long time after its release in the United States. I wasn’t really a fan of many of the products, but the Tendertone lip balms really caught my attention.

I got to my nearest MAC last night while I was on my break to check out the new collection, and boy was I impressed. The packaging was so cute and colourful, it really made me want to buy everything! Instead of buying everything, I just purchased two products - the tendertone lip balms in “Hot N’ Saucy” and “Hush Hush”.

The first thing I noticed about these products, besides the eye-catching shades was the beautiful aromatic smell of the product. Hush Hush has a slight watermelon-ish smell to it, and Hot N Saucy has a strawberry smell. They also taste great too!

Hot N Saucy is a nice wash of red which makes your lips pop and feel so healthy! I much prefer wearing these products over a chemist product such as Blistex. Hush Hush is a beautiful nude with glitter which would look great with a natural eye. You all know how much I LOVE nudes!

These two products apply like a dream! They’re so smooth and silky how you’d want a lip balm to be, with a wash of colour that really makes your lips look flawless like they’re wearing nothing at all.

You get a generous amount of product in the container, enough to last a few years, and they’re so handy to apply on a night out!

One of the best things about these products is that they’re moisturising as well as SPF 12, so they give you the protection that you need on your lips when going out in the sun or going out into the freezing cold.

These will set you back:
